Amethyst is a great, quirky, gem of a cat! She's very outgoing and loves people, she gives lots of affectionate head bonks, actually wags her tail with happiness (we thought she was doing the agitated tail swish, but she's just really happy), and she likes to play with and drink water from a running faucet.
